- Pharma Company Finds Profitable Customers
The vice president of marketing for a pharmaceutical company came to Quaero seeking a prescription for its marketing ailments. We diagnosed the problem as a lack of systematic accumulation of data about therapy candidates, patients, and marketing programs.
Our client had difficulty identifying and segmenting customers. He was unable to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs from an acquisition and loyalty perspective and wanted to establish a comprehensive prospect and customer database accessible from his desktop.
Quaero developed a relationship marketing database and campaign management solution that provided insight into what marketing activities were most effective in building awareness, encouraged desired behavior towards trial, and improved compliance and persistence through effective communication and facilitation between constituents.
The results: A compelling 1 million therapy candidates, patients and healthcare providers were acquired, and are being maintained in the Relationship Marketing database. 180,000 (18%) were converted to “on brand” status. Additionally, improvements to Rx Adherence are being recognized, resulting in more loyal, profitable and well-cared-for patients.
